A thank you from the presidents of Toliara
We, the Christians from the nine parishes in Toliara, should like to express our profound gratitude for all the help you have offered us. We did not have water, and you sent us a water tanker. We did not have any clothes, and you sent us clothing. We were sick, and you sent us medicines. You also provided us with social goods.
School opening in Ampany

His Holiness, the Alexandrian Primate inaugurated the new primary and middle schools in Ampany. The school complex will greatly help the poor children of the region and provide education in a country where illiteracy is very high. The building complex was constructed with the assistance of The Most Reverend Metropolitan Procopius of Philippi, Neapoli and Thasos, and pious Christians from Kavala. His Eminence blessed the harvest of local fields and the cleaning of the rice.

An 85 year old female volunteer welcomes the Patriarch

Mrs. Iliada Cuvoussi, from Australia, was one of the first volunteers to arrive in Madagascar to assist the first Orthodox Bishop, father Nektarios Kellis. Today, she was present at the airport and ready with feelings of deep emotion to welcome the Primate of Alexandria. Still tireless at 85, she is an example to us all.

Inauguration of the Church of the Presentation of the Virgin Mary
On Sunday 31st May 2015, Pentecost, the Alexandrian Primate inaugurated the Church of the Presentation of the Virgin Mary. The church is part of the orphanage complex, and it is the first building that has been completed.
